Program Coordinator - ADM023491 Employment Type : Permanent Full-time Location(s) : SK-Rgna-Regina Ministry : 001 Agriculture Salary Range : $22.323 - $27.975 Hourly Grade : SGEU.05

The Ministry of Agriculture Programs Branch is seeking a highly motivated individual to support program delivery.

Reporting to the Supervisor: Program Coordinators and Systems, this position is responsible for the primary intake of program applications received, reviewing and verifying applications for completeness and the necessary information to meet initial program eligibility requirements. Preparing and sending correspondence, responding to or routing inquiries relating to all of the programming being delivered by the branch and/or the ministry. This position requires knowledge of application processing procedures, working with databases and other program delivery software, maintaining full applicant records, and processing payments. You will also be required to assist with the development and assessment of business processes, which may also include system testing. Knowledge of the agricultural industry in Saskatchewan is an asset.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent computer skills (speed and accuracy in word processing, spreadsheets, databases including use of client relationship management systems, reporting software, etc.), and have the ability to explain program eligibility requirements and guidelines; both verbally and in writing to agricultural producers and stakeholders.

This role supports several team members. You will be accountable, attentive to detail, and able to work both independently and as a team member with colleagues, agencies and others to meet program and client needs in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.

Our candidate of choice will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be comfortable multi-tasking and adaptable to competing deadlines. You must have exceptional organizational skills to coordinate and process correspondence and ensure responses are completed in a timely manner. Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills are required to resolve issues on a daily basis, in a confidential environment.

Typically, the competencies for this position are obtained through a diploma in office administration or business administration and/or a combination of education and experience.
