Job Overview
This Non-Pharmacy Integrations Technical Consultant for our Vendors and Partners Team is a highly skilled member responsible for managing integration projects by supporting vendor and partner engagements and participating in client and partner consulting. This role involves reviewing business requirements, identifying technical inefficiencies, conducting technical integration analysis, and implementing market trends and technologies to improve workflow efficiencies
What you'll be doing day to day:
- Manage multiple consulting projects, coordinating tasks, schedules, and meetings with customers, vendors, and other departments.
- Support the development of the Vendor and Partners network by consulting and supporting vendors and partners during their discovery, development, and final integration review.
- Review, interpret, and respond to detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment between vendor/partner expectations and technology capabilities.
- Identify system, infrastructure, and project interdependencies and balance competing demands for successful project deliverables.
- Work cross-functionally within the Organization delivery teams to identify areas of technical inefficiencies. Devise recommendations, build, operationalize and transfer solutions to address inefficiencies.
- Serve as escalation path for support and implementation teams. Investigate, consult, solve or direct requests within defined SLAs.
- Identify product deficiency trends in escalated issues and collaborate with the Vendor and Partner Manager to formulate recommended solutions.
- Utilize API, HL7, SOAP, Messaging, and SQL knowledge to navigate through Vendor/Partner requests.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the PointClickCare application and systems designs for a SaaS company.
- Provide basic leadership and relationship building capabilities, negotiating, and influencing others to drive successful project outcomes.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Pay attention to detail and strive for quality outcomes.
- Display a quick learning ability with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A successful team member will possess:
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and work experience will also be considered.
- 2 to 5 years of software support experience, quality assurance, or testing experience or 3 to 5 years of experience as a business analyst or technical consultant.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple urgent and critical issues and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong technical and business process engineering, automation, and management skills.
- Strong SQL skills, data analysis, and interpretation experience.
- API, HL7, SOAP, messaging, and SQL knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of integration engines, messaging structures, web services, and healthcare industry is preferred.
