Job description

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently looking for an Architectural Technologist to join one of our clients. The company is one of the largest integrated development, design and construction firms in Western Canada, providing solutions to clients in the Industrial, Institutional, Building Renewal, Commercial, Retail and Residential sectors.  In an industry driven by traditional market practices, they focus on innovation, service integration and technology to create efficiencies and savings.

The Architectural Technologist will be responsible for translating design intent into a complete set of construction documents coordinated with engineering and Building Code requirements. The Architectural Technologist will develop wall sections and details which meet the design intent of the Project Architect / Design Manager (PA/DM) and are rooted in best practices of Building Envelope science. The Architectural Technologist will also advise on the development of the project specifications as they relate to building envelope assemblies, materials and details.
