Project Coordinator - Civil Engineer
Clearwater Structures Inc. is the industry leader in heavy civil construction specializing in bridge construction and rehabilitation. Looking for a Project Coordinator to maintain the companys continuing growth by their support in field operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the long term planning and scheduling of projects
Source and acquire materials required for projects while adhering to deadlines
Track material and production costs
Coordination of design for temporary structures, including shoring, bridge jacking and access/protection system
Issuing RFCs, INCs, letters to clients for response and approval
Communicating with field staff to ensure all contract documentation has been received including any changes to the original contractual requirements
Coordinating and scheduling crews and equipment for project sites
Qualifications:
Civil Engineering Program completed or experience in MTO Heavy Civil construction projects
Must have full drivers license
Must be willing to travel between job sites throughout Southwestern Ontario on daily basis
Strong management, communication and organizational skills
Salary: $60 000 - $70 000 CAD / year
Bonus: Company vehicle and gas card provided
Benefits: Company Paid Group Benefits Plan (Health, Dental, Life Insurance, AD&D, LTD), 2 weeks vacation + 1 week for Christmas shutdown
Job Type: Full-time permanent. (Expected to be available for evening/overnight shift changes and weekends)
Language: At least intermediate English is required.
