Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Liquor Store Associate (we like to call you Customer Service Representative) at our Saanich Liquor Store located at 104-3510 Blanshard Street, Victoria, BC. We have a permanent, part-time role available, offering 16 hours per week to an individual who is available for mid-day and evenings shifts throughout the week (weekends inclusive)

Applicants must be at least 19 years of age.

• Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately
• Scan items and process transactions in an accurate and efficient manner including cash, credit and debit transactions and gift card activations
• Look out for their safety and the safety of others
• Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate
• Use your product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions
• Has reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check
• Serving it right certificate required

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Besides working with the best group of team mates and serving fantastic customers, you will be cleaning, and stocking the store, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location is clean and safe. We’ll also train and develop you for Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Site Manager opportunities if you are looking for advancement!
