Job description

Title - Business Development Manager

Type - Permanent / Remote (10% in office)

Our client is a leader in the business of industrial distribution is currently looking for a Business Development Manager in the St. Catharines region.

For over 80 years, they have been more than just a component provider and their products help build planes, trains, automobiles, and everything else around us.
They have a worldwide branch network which exceeds 200 branches.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales, sales team collaboration, problem resolution, and end user customer selling models.

Responsibilities
* Building strategic plans for territory growth and sales development to end user, OEM customer accounts.
* Building long-lasting business relationships that are beneficial to the client and profitable to the business.
* Effectively manage the sales territory and guide efforts to achieve the desired sales and profits.

* Developing both new and existing business while working with several channels - Distribution, OEMS, end users.
* Representing the comprehensive product offering of Power Transmission, Safety and Industrial Components to a mix of
customers across various industries.

Qualifications
* Successful track record of sales success in B2B environment.
* 2-3 years of Industry related experience in the manufacturing, power transmission, metalworking, tooling and/or
production environment is an asset.
* Expertise in leading, coaching, and mentoring a sales team, driving sales performance to continue our growth strategy.
* Self-directed, results-oriented sales professional with strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and
communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-growing marketplace.
