The Director, Domestic Violence (DV) Practice and System Coordination reports to the Executive Director of Provincial Practice who provides senior level leadership to Managers and Directors of Practice assigned to each of the Ministry’s 8 Service Delivery Areas. The Director, Domestic Violence Practice and System Coordination is responsible for sustaining a collaborative practice environment for improving and strengthening the provision of domestic violence practice in child, youth, and family services at a provincial level, and the ongoing development of practice regarding domestic violence in the province.

The Director, Domestic Violence Practice and System Coordination provides expert advice in the provision of Domestic Violence services to children, families and youth. The position directs and co-ordinates the development and delivery of various projects involving varying degrees of scope and is responsible for project planning, and lead implementation of new practice initiatives relating to domestic violence across the six service lines.

This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to four (4) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

This position is excluded from union membership.
