Position Title: KITCHEN HELPER

Number of Vacancies:  01

We are looking for one KITCHEN HELPER (NOC 65201).

Job Duties:

• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Stock refrigerators
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Handle and store cleaning products
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

Additional Skills:

• Fast-paced environment
• Repetitive tasks
• Standing for extended periods
• Work under pressure

Education :  Completion of a general high school

Work Experience :  Experience in a food service setting is an asset

Terms of Employment :  Permanent Full-time

Start date : As soon as possible

Language of work :  English – basic conversational.

Wage :  $17.00/hour, plus gratuities

Working Hours :  from 30 to 40 hours a week.
