We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Revit Technologist to join a client of ours in Calgary, Alberta . The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, specifically Revit, to design and document electrical systems for various projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and a proficiency in Revit software to ensure the accurate and efficient creation of electrical drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revit Modeling: Utilize Revit software to create detailed 3D models of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate design concepts into detailed electrical plans and schematics using Revit.
- Ensure that electrical designs comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications
- Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, and mechanical) to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building models.
- Ability to problem solve and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure quality standards
- Maintain and update project documentation throughout the design and construction phases
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Implement best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of similar experience
- Proven experience as a Revit Technologist with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
