Job description
Assisting cooks in the preparation of meal ingredients
Washing, drying, and putting away dishes, utensils, and cookware
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and kitchen equipment
Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags
Retrieving ingredients from the refrigerator, freezer, and stockroom
Measuring ingredients as per the cook's instructions.
Helping with kitchen operations, such as opening and closing the restaurant, and stocking supplies.
