Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Treasury, Treasury & Accounting Analyst is responsible for executing the day-to-day treasury operation and to perform a variety of administrative tasks as well as supporting any accounting and reporting requirements within the Corporate Treasury department.
Treasury Operations
- Processes the FX and Cross-Currency Confirmation and settlement;
- Manage daily treasury payments and bookings such as margin calls, liquidity transfers, etc.;
- Initiate wire transfers and other funding necessary to balance company’s daily cash position;
- Monitor payment import file into system and troubleshoot when required;
- Resolves cash issues in a timely manner;
- Perform transaction searches in D365 / Recy, FIS Integrity, Banking platform as requested by banks, accounting department, etc. ;
- Review of expiring trades and follow-up with trader and bank;
- Reconciles the treasury bank accounts in the TMS;
- Creating of payment banking information in our systems (bank platform, TMS);
- Follow-up with renewals of insurance certificates for our lenders;
- Support the treasury team with information gathering and data input as required.
Treasury Support
- Trade Finance Support - issuance of letter of credits & submitting it to the beneficiary/ bank for approval;
- Support Corporate Treasury with documentation for equipment financing programs, including obtaining of tax joint elections;
- Support Corporate Treasury with bank account documentation (opening, closing, maintenance of the signing officer list and periodic update with banks, etc.);
- Support the asset management team with obtaining lender’s waivers and other requests.
Treasury Accounting (back-up)
- Responsible for daily accounting for all treasury activity including daily bank reconciliations and suspense account clearance;
- Responsible for the accounting static data in the treasury management system (Integrity);
- Ensure the interface between the treasury management system (Integrity) and the accounting system (D365) is complete and issues are resolved in a timely manner;
- Support the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements and tax for the treasury reporting legal entity;
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and system integrity, escalating any foreseeable issues or opportunities for improvement to management where required.
Treasury Support

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance and/or Accounting;
- Experience in a back-office and/or as an accounting technician;
- Good knowledge and experience dealing with derivatives and financial instruments;
- Experience with a Treasury Management System (TMS), preferably FIS Integrity;
- Fluently bilingual English and French, any other language an asset;
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
- Efficient, methodical, diligent & resourceful a must.
