The Role: Peterborough County-City Paramedics is the lifeline for both residents of Peterborough County and the City. Responding to approximately 34,000 calls annually, our dedicated team of 160 staff, operating at both the primary and advanced care levels, plays a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our community.
Our Reach: With six strategically located stations across the region – two in the City of Peterborough, and one each in Norwood, Lakefield, Apsley, and a seasonal station in Buckhorn – we are committed to swift and effective emergency response.
Innovative Initiatives: At Peterborough County-City Paramedics, we go beyond traditional services. We operate several Community Paramedic programs and boast Tactical Paramedic Teams. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond emergency response; we actively engage with and support the well-being of our community through these innovative programs.
