Lead SAP Data Analyst, HR Systems

Job description

Join our expanding advanced analytics and decision-support team, focused on unlocking insights to attract, develop, motivate, and retain OpenText’s most important asset - our people. Reporting to the Senior Director, People Analytics & Organizational Effectiveness, the Senior Analyst, People Analytics will play a pivotal role in partnering with HR & Business Stakeholders to perform actionable diagnostic and predictive analyses. Your expertise in evaluating and augmenting people data will drive strategic business decisions, contributing to the enhancement of the global employee experience.


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

•   Act as a consultant on projects, utilizing HR analytics to inform courses of action in collaboration with key stakeholders.

•   Design interactive and insightful dashboards covering the entire employee lifecycle.

•   Enable the implementation of tools such as employee survey vendors or reporting dashboards for unique sets of decision-makers and stakeholder user-groups.

•   Evaluate, dissect, and augment people data to identify trends and recommend enhancements for core people metrics, including attraction, retention, development, people manager effectiveness, and business KPIs.

•   Collaborate closely with core team members, including the ‘Reporting & Data Governance Manager,’ ‘Organizational Effectiveness’ team, and HR IT to execute projects, providing subject matter advisory to achieve results.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 


•   Degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•   Ability to quickly learn new technology/software/systems, understanding of HR technology, systems, (Success Factors, SAC, Power BI) HR data, and reporting, with experience in HRIS and reporting/data visualization.

•   Excellent communicator (verbal, written, and visual) who excels at distilling concepts and complex people data into easily digestible stories using data visualization and story telling tools

•   Easily forms relationships and enjoys working with many different stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

•   Knowledge of SQL, Python (or R), and ETL pipelines would be a plus
