Reporting to the VP of Sales, the National Account Executive will communicate and sell value for one-of-a-kind, custom-tailored logistics solutions to new clients in the retail space – across the GTA and North America!
Our client’s solution is ‘untapped’ by their competitors and completely unique in the logistics and supply chain space. This candidate will have the autonomy to build an outstanding portfolio of new clients!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Target is a new net business within the retail industry in Canada.
- Demonstrate visible leadership and facilitation of the Sales management process to create improved revenues and earnings for TFIS while working with key internal stakeholders to build solutions that leverage our Retail industry expertise.
- Provide functional direction and personal involvement as required to lead internal stakeholders in the planning, penetrating, and removing barriers to win large revenue opportunities.
- Achieve net new business growth goals that is aligned with company growth objectives.
- Knowledgeable about all services and benefits TFIS can provide and can communicate the benefits and uses of their services effectively during a presentation (i.e. PowerPoint).
- Understand the operations side of the business to ensure there is a good match with the customers' needs and the services they provide and communicate regularly with Operations Management.
- Develop and implement new value-added services desired by Retailers.
- Consult with new customers after sales or signed contracts to manage the onboarding process, resolve problems, and/or provide ongoing support and customer service until the account is handed off to other Sales functions.
- Develop headquarters and site-specific relationships to ensure TFIS becomes the Retailer’s primary provider of services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record of 5+ years of Sales performance selling a structured value proposition to large accounts.
- Proficient at uncovering and quantifying business value for net new customers.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently secure new business meetings.
- Capable of walking through a distribution center and recommending solutions.
- Strong communication and negotiating skills are required for all aspects of the Sales cycle.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure focus is maintained on the daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
- Effective and efficient communication skills are required for both internal and external consensus building.
- Minimum 5 years of outside Sales experience in an individual contributor role.
- Video calling, CRM, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Inspires accountability and teamwork.
- Makes joint Sales calls leveraging internal subject matter experts.
- Energetic, self-starter
- Passionate, hard worker, and well-organized professional with the power to prioritize and multitask.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines both independently and working with a team.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
REMUNERATION:
BASE SALARY : $90,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $40,000+ (uncapped)
ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $130,000
OTHER: car allowance + phone + laptop, comprehensive full benefits, RRSPs, vacation, hybrid office / WFH
