Work closely with the backend development team, product owner, and customer support to test and deliver successfully
Ability to analyze Project documents/Business & functional requirement documents and provide input to Test strategy and Test Plan documents.
Ability to analyze business requirements and developing detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, traceability matrixes, automating testing procedures
Execute Test cases and document Test results
Create defects for failed Test cases and responsible for defect closure
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Create and maintain test cases for new user facing features as well as a regression suite
Look for bugs in the system on different testing cycles stages (feature testing, integration testing, regression testing)
Experience in gathering and analyzing of software quality and performance metrics throughout the software development life cycle
Perform API testing
Write complex SQL queries to ensure data validation
Perform white box testing locally using Docker
Work with cloud services such as Azure/ AWS
Maintain testing documentation when applicable
Triage production bugs
Job Requirements
3-5 years of experience in testing product with a focus on backend
Strong understanding of SDLC, testing stages, and testing methodologies
Strong practical knowledge in writing Test scenarios/Test cases from Technical Design/Functional specification document
Excellent Test execution and documentation skills
Good understanding of Defect Management life cycle
Strong practical knowledge in API testing (REST)
Strong practical knowledge of Automation Testing
Excellent exposure to Performance & Load Testing
Excellent exposure to Security Testing
Excellent exposure to Accessibility Testing
Strong practical knowledge in writing complex SQL queries
Hands on experience with Docker
Good understanding how to work with cloud services such as Azure/AWS
Good understanding on testing integration with 3d parties
Playwright automation framework knowledge is a plus
White Box testing experience is a plus
PHP and JS knowledge is a plus
Software Testing and Quality assurance training certificate
