Our client, a leading engineering firm specializing in the design of testing equipment for global clients, is actively seeking a skilled Inventory Control Associate for their cutting-edge facility in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

Job Description:

As an Inventory Control Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will involve safely handling, transporting, and organizing materials to facilitate timely production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities as an Inventory Control Associate:

• Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in designated storage areas
• Accurately pick and pack materials for production orders and shipments
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain precise records of material movements
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill material requests and ensure a smooth production process
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against packing lists

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment (preferred)
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and maintaining records
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
