Description The
Construction Labourer plays an essential role within a company specializing in construction and renovation projects for buildings. Under the supervision of foremen and team leaders, they contribute to the efficient completion of tasks on construction sites, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and deadline standards.
Responsibilities •Assist in preparing the construction site before work commences, including unloading materials, installing safety equipment, and setting up work areas.
•Work collaboratively with other team members to perform various construction tasks.
•Handle construction materials safely and efficiently, following established procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and damage.
•Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas after each task. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment contributes to safety and operational efficiency.
•Adhere to safety instructions on the construction site.
•Communicate effectively with foremen and other team members to report incidents, issues, or additional material and equipment needs.
•Follow plans and instructions provided by team leaders and supervisors, ensuring assigned tasks are completed in accordance with project standards and requirements.
•Assist in organizing and setting up construction sites, including participating in the installation of temporary equipment and managing construction waste.
•Perform any other related tasks. Specific duties may vary depending on project and operational needs.
Requirements •Experience as a construction labourer is an asset.
•Ability to work physically, including handling tools and lifting loads.
•Knowledge of safety standards on construction sites.
•Valid driver's license is an asset.
