Industrial Electrician - Food manufacturing facility in Toronto

Located in North York  near  HWY 400 and Wilson AVE

Overview :

Applicant must be able willing to work any shift, including night shift.

Applicant should have completed an apprenticeship program & certified as 309A and /or 442A Electrician in Ontario.

We would  like to see 3 years of hands on experience in food manufacturing. but if your great at what you do we want to hear from you.

Job Functions:

• Perform preventative Maintenance according to specifications, instructions of Maintenance Management.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, the building and all of its components.
• Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
• Design and build electrical circuits to improve the performance of equipment and machinery.

Specific skills requirements:

• Industrial Electrician license.
• Preferably 3 years local experience in Canada from within a Food Plant Manufacturing environment.

Required skills:

• Trouble shooting skills for Electrical & Mechanical problems
• Understanding of electrical circuitry
• Knowledge of PLC’s, maintenance shop machinery and electronics
• Knowledge of building wiring and CSA codes as it applies to an Industrial establishment.
• Reading, writing and communication in English.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy machinery.
• Ability to work at heights, heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health & Safety.

Monday to Friday.

Night shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.), and 10 hours shift (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

$38.90 + shift premium
