Job description

Our client is urgently looking for a Payroll & Benefit Administrator wilth experience with Ceridian and/or Employeur D.

The payroll and benefits administrator plays an important role in everyday payroll administration.

Position: Payroll and benefits
Type: Permanent
Schedule: up to 40 hours a week
Location West Island of Montreal (Pointe-Claire)
Salary 55 to 70 K annually, (according to experience)
Languages English and french

Responsibilities
Payroll administration formultiple entities in Canada and the USA.
Benefits management
Produce remittance statements for DAS
Point of contact for employee and internal stakeholder follow-ups
Prepare reports and forms such as Records of Employment, terminations, WSIB, benefit remittances, T4s and RL1s.
Monitor vacation/attendance accruals and activities

Produce salary adjustments, bonuses, commissions and other special payments.
Administer group benefits plan
Complete new hire, termination, retirement, probation and change processes
Keep abreast of all payroll and benefits issues/rights regarding company policies and government legislation.
Prepare bi-weekly reports
Perform any other duties related to the office administration of the department as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications
Be flexible and organized, able to balance multiple priorities with varying levels of importance.
3 to 5 years' experience as a payroll and benefits administrator or coordinator;
Experience with EmployeurD, Ceridian or similar payroll systems;
Experience in group benefits administration
