Job description

Randstad Canada is currently looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join an amazing team at one of our top client's location at Dartmouth, NS.

Located near Bedford/Dartmouth area near Highway 107

Are you able to take on duties such as: gripping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying boxes of various weights for extended periods? If so, this opportunity is great for you!

We have shifts available from Monday to Friday, starting at 9:30 am and ending at 4:30 pm. You'll be paid $19.50 per hour.

Please note:

- This position requires a reliability clearance, which involves completing fingerprinting.
- You'll be responsible for covering the initial fingerprinting costs, however, Iron Mountain will reimburse you for this expense after your first month.
- Even though you might receive a job offer quickly, you won't be able to start the role until the clearance is processed, which could take a few days to a few weeks. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Responsibilities
- Using computer systems to track orders and determining the location of boxes
- Operating hand held scanner
- Arraigning and selecting orders containing multiple cartons/boxes filled with paperwork.
- Loading and securely shrinking wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
- Ability to manually load packages onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks, using material handling aids as needed.
- Abie to load, operate, and maneuver hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

Qualifications
- 6 Months experience working in a heavy general labor position
- Ability to lift 50lbs consecutively
- Must have full-time availability
- Clear criminal background check and completed Reliability Status (or willingness to acquire)
- Comfortable with physical labor and some data entry
- Must be available long-term (not a seasonal role)
