Job Description: Under the direction of the Director, Primary Health Care, this position supports program administration and provides direct leadership, supervision, administration and coordination of Primary Health Care services. This position assumes a leadership role in areas including supply chain, security, space and facility planning and maintenance, policy development, orientation, development, tracking of departmental expenditures, emergency preparedness, database development/maintenance and troubleshooting occupational health and safety issues pertaining to Primary Health Care Services sites. These functions are in place to ensure staff and clients have a safe environment in which to deliver or receive Primary Health Care services.
Required Qualifications
A degree or certificate in Business Administration or Health Care Administration is required
Experience
Three years health experience with supervisory experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and issues, and to make independent decisions which may have significant impact on staff, services and the general public.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to prioritize staff work assignments and resource use to achieve specified service outcomes.
Ability to utilize computer technology for day-to-day tasks
Ability to work on multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Basic knowledge of the fields of information technology and telecommunications, including related confidentiality agreements.
Basic knowledge of the principles of data collection and statistical analysis, microcomputer hardware, software and networks as well as troubles
