Field Sales Representative
Join our team as a Field Sales Representative , playing a pivotal role in expanding our market presence across Vancouver, BC. As a key contributor, you will take charge of managing customer accounts, focusing on regional and national convenience & gas store chains.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective sales strategies and territory plans to maximize market penetration.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and grow relationships with gas and convenience store partners, including staff, sales reps, and distributors.
- Territory Growth: Manage and expand an assigned territory within the Southern and Interior Areas of BC by increasing product volume and establishing new points of distribution.
- Route Sales: Follow a structured route and sell products directly to C&G businesses, while emphasizing product merchandising and educational efforts.
- Consumer Conversion: Drive adult consumer conversion and attachment through category, product, and educational awareness.
- Sales Leadership: Demonstrate leadership within the sales team by showcasing proficiency in business fundamentals and tools, taking ownership of the sales pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for strategic business growth and issue resolution.
- Forecasting Skills: Ability to forecast and communicate volume and spending information effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years in retail sales/account management with a strategic account emphasis. Previous exposure to C-Stores is advantageous.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, prioritizing competing demands within gas and convenience store retailers and internally.
- Personality: Eager, self-motivated individual with a track record of goal achievement, possessing a strong willingness to learn, work independently, and excel in time management and planning.
- Customer Focus: Enthusiasm for enhancing customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.
- Transportation: A clean driving record and reliable transportation are a must. Some overnight travel may be required.
