Job Description

This is a dedicated resource located physically in the assembly plant, next to the Changes coordinators, who provides a technical support regarding a spectrum of the integration of modifications in our ETO MV products.

You will identify, analyze, guide and resolve manufacturing inquiries about deficiencies in the design of MV ETO projects involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects. You will be dedicated to providing support to any MV ETO projects in the plant, domains the Design Tools and engineering databases to modify the ETO projects or update documentation based on the limitations due to the availability of information or previous agreements available from the project.

This resource together with the production team will identify the issues of priority projects to alert, expedite the resolution and monitoring the implementation, also will do the analysis of recurrent issues and propose permanent solutions to the engineering group.

You will report to the Specialist Team Lead.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review with the engineering team the requirements and propose technical solutions that will make the project successful.
• Support on site the resolution of Manufacturing information requirements or be the key contact to escalate the issues in case engineers were not available.
• Contact engineers for any issue raise on site and support providing details by taking photos, fix BOM, NC, update one-lines, elevations or electrical drawings or making suggestions on complex designs to speed up the resolution of issues
• Check and coordinate on site what remote engineer ask to support.
• Provide root cause analysis and lesson learn projects to improve the quality of engineering designs
• Report status of the High-risk Order and Document possible deviations or considerations to expedite the shipments.
• Monitor the ETO project from initiation of construction through delivery.
• Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and guarantee the quality levels.
• Support the designs, and implements, processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility of Motor Control Centers complex system based on the detail engineering.

The Essentials- What You Will Have:

• University Degree or Technologist Diploma
• Legal authorization to work in the Canada required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred- You May Also Have:

• University Degree or Technologist Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Typically requires 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in automation and/or Low or Medium Voltage Motor Control Centers
• Proficiency with SAP systems.
• Strong technical background with expertise in problem solving techniques.
• High Degree of application knowledge all Rockwell Automation Products
• Proficiency with engineering tools AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and CREO parametric.
• Proficiency with business tools Microsoft Apps
