KW Habilitation is a local not-for-profit organization that provides a wide range of individualized services and supports to children with any special need and adults with developmental disabilities. We support individuals to live a fulfilling life which is fostered through preschool and early learning supports, respite services, residential services, community participation, and employment supports.

Requirements:
- Post Secondary Education in Accounting and/or Payroll
- 5 years relevant experience in payroll and accounting support
- Knowledge of mathematical calculations and bookkeeping procedures
- Strong computer skills including demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage and accounting programs such as ACCPAC
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure, be adaptable and flexible
Responsibilities:
- The Payroll and Accounting Administration position is responsible for assisting with the administration and processing of payroll and leave information for approximately 550 full and part-time employees.
- The incumbent posts entries, audits and reconciles various payroll reports and Accounts Receivable.
- This position provides support to all functions of the KW Habilitation (KWH) payroll and Accounts Receivable.
- The Payroll and Accounting Administration position also contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the KWH office, and supports the work of management, other staff, and the Board of Directors.
- The Payroll Accounting Administration person will demonstrate a positive attitude, act as a role model to staff and communicate responsibly, professional and objectively.
- They will ensure that all services provided are within the context of KWH’s philosophy, policies and procedures and that they are consistent with legislative requirements.
Schedule : 40 hours a week 8am-4pm (some flexibility required, position includes benefits and pension plan)
