Qualifications:
Membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, in good standing
Minimum of two (2) years work experience in a high-acuity Acute Care &/or Paediatric Diabetes Clinic setting preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage Orthopaedic and General Surgery patients, including therapeutic oral diets, TPN (i.e., fluid, electrolytes, and vitamin additives), and tube feedings, as well as, provide effective perioperative diet education to patients and families
Experience with NICU (including neonatal TPN), and Paediatric Diabetes Education preferred
Experience with Gestational Diabetes Education preferred
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) preferred
Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize and manage caseload volumes

Ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of computer software, Meditech and CBORD preferred
Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality, attendance and performance
