Job description

The Senior Business Analyst selected will report to the Manager Business Solutions & Delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible to design and build the detailed processes supporting the new Collaborative SAP Support Model that is organized into a service delivery model and supporting organization structure. This will include to work collaboratively with the sector partners to redesign SAP supports.

The consultant will work closely with the project resources, business resources, staff from program office, SAPSM and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities
The consultant is responsible for the following activities:
• Responsible for the Operational and Support Business Process design
• Develop SAP support processes, scoping processes and ensure the activities/deliverables are completed to the defined standards.
• Develop presentation materials and communications, as required
• Conducts process analysis, options analysis and risk assessments
• Lead eliciting, analyzing, validating and verifying requirements

• Support the development of Business Services Framework, Sustainment Organization Structure, Operational Support Model, Operational Readiness Checklist, Organizational Change Management, Training & Knowledge Transfer Plan, Training Content Development, Staffing Plan, Hypercare Support Plan and Transition to Support plan
• Support and participate in the implementation planning and deployment activities
• Support in the development of training materials and assist in trainings as required.
• Participate in SAPMP updates in both written and verbal updates, as required

Qualifications
Desired Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in Business process analysis, business process design and business process transformation, development of procedures, requirements gathering, modeling and diagramming
• Demonstrated experience with IT Service Desk / Tiered Operations Supports (SAP would be an asset)
• Demonstrated experience with Human-centered process design
• Demonstrated experience in identifying issues, unique business challenges, gap analysis and ability to differentiate between actual and required client needs
• Demonstrated experience with techniques used in elicitation with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Ability to collect, evaluate, simplify and disseminate data and information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts and;
• Strong facilitation skills (one on one and in small/large groups)
• Effectively interacts and collaborates with others to obtain required actions
Prior public sector experience (PNS, NSH/IWK or NSRCEs/CSAP preferred)
