Overview:
$19.00 / hour
Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years for this position

- Conduct daily audits of food service areas.
- Prepare reports with the Executive Chef (should include daily/weekly recaps and recommendations for improving processes).
- Correct immediate areas of deficiencies when observed and notify Executive Chef and Operations Manager to ensure follow up.
- Provide food safety training for all associates.
- Report all maintenance concerns that could have an adverse effect on food and personal safety (including PPE).
- Report all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Ensure all safety equipment is being used properly, alert Supervisor for any malfunctions, safety concerns or needs.
- Act as a liaison between the Foods Division, Park Safety Department and York Regional Public Health Department.
- Assist in completing accident reports.
- Participate in all Everclean scheduled and unscheduled audits.
- Prepare any needed reports and action plans to correct areas of deficiency.

Qualifications:
- You!
- Enrollment in a post-secondary Food Safety program or equivalent work experience/education.
- Someone with current Smart Serve Certification or a willingness to get certified (cost covered upon successful completion of contract).
- Successful completion of the regional health department’s food handler program.
- Previous supervisory experience and experience with Micros (an asset).
- People who love helping others and support the needs of guests and employees.
- Availability that includes working flexible shifts on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
