Sandpiper Signs is a well established sign company in the Tri-Cities that is looking for a full-time, self-motivated Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Sr. Graphics Designer, you will be a key player in our fast-paced, high volume production environment. Candidates must be dependable, energetic, and willing to work parallel to our company’s values of Trust, Quality, and Respect.

Our focus is in producing high-quality signage, decals and other branding material for businesses in the Tri-Cities, as well as the Lower Mainland as a whole. The industries we serve typically fall under industrial, construction and occasionally the arts. Our products include: signs, decals, cut vinyl, banners, flags, car wraps, and much more!

Summary:

We are looking to add a dedicated member to our team that is experienced with design. Practical experience in software such as Adobe PS, Adobe Illustrator, Fiery and other programs are required. In addition to your prior experience, you will learn the specifics of designing for print and other media.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, proofing and communicating regularly with customers through email and phone.

• Assisting in the printing and production of decals and signage as the shop requires. Any necessary training will be provided.

Requirements

*Strong portfolios will also be considered in place of lack of experience*

• 4+ years experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and/or similar programs (Required)

• 2+ years experience working with Roland and HP Wide Format Printers, Xerox printers and other printing equipment (Required)

• Fluent in English (Required)

• Knowledge of digital print materials, laminates, vehicle graphics, cut vinyls and various substrates an asset

• Team player with good project management skills

• Detail oriented and able to multi-task

• Communicate well with customers via email, phone, and internal management software
