Job Description
Door / Valet Attendant First impressions are everything! Your engaging smile and personality are the essence of a great Door/Valet Attendant with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. As you personally greet our Guests and assist them throughout the day, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "Turning moments into memories for our guests".
Pay Rate: $16.75 per hour

What you will be doing: - Assisting our arriving and departing guests while providing exceptional service
- Assist with valeting of guest vehicles
- Proudly be an ambassador of the property and brand, promoting our facilities
- To be familiar with all guest related activities and events within the hotel and outside agencies, such as activities, theatre, outside transportation, recreation and current events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your skills and experience include: - Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract is required
- Class 4 BC Driver's License is an asset, but not required
- Ability to drive manual is required
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Knowledge of Whistler area is an asset.
Physical Aspects of Position include but are not limited to the following: - Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
