Job description
Nortech is seeking candidates to support ongoing work in the Grande Prairie that are Certified Exposure Device Operators (CEDOs) or a trainee who has experience working as an exposure device operator under supervision.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working in a safe manner and following Nortech Safety Program requirements
• Assisting in performance of radiographic inspections in accordance with applicable specifications
• Perform specialized inspections under the supervision of a Level II technician
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Exposure Device Operator Certification (CEDO) is preferred. Trainees will be considered at this time if they have a 40 hour CEDO course or UT1 course completed.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Knowledge of NDT equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee will also run, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment.
