Job description

The focus of this position is Supporting project teams as an integral link between the business, Steam IS and Digital. Deploying the relevant tools and techniques so the right solution is delivered and implemented successfully

They are looking for an exceptional Business Analyst with 5+ years experience in a similar with end to end project delivery of Order Processing functions - eCommerce platform preferred (Ideally JDE), who is familiar with working on project that are running hybrid agile & waterfall.
The technical Go-live is planned for July, but then they have two months of customer rollouts to work through
Their legacy software platform is at end of life, and the vendor will no longer provide support after September 30, 2024
The primary process mapping is customer sales order entry between the legacy webstore and their ERP – JD Edwards E1.

Responsibilities

Objectives and Responsibilities
•Mapping as-is and to-be process models using swim lane methods
•Data dictionary creation
•Producing epics, features and user stories in conjunction with stakeholder
•Proactively engage with business stakeholders to help prioritize user stories to ensure required functionality is delivered on time
•Assist project team with backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospective ceremonies
•At times cover for the Project Manager / Scrum master
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and global project team members
•Working collaboratively with internal customers to bring them along with the change
•Providing a high standard of customer service to internal customers
•Capturing requirements and documenting in the form of MoSCoW
•Supporting the project manager with workshops and write up’s
•Producing test approaches in conjunction with stakeholder
•Producing and executing test scripts / scenarios
•Proactively support daily project communications, sharing findings/outputs/risk mitigations/impact analysis, etc. with project team

Qualifications
Relevant Experience and Qualifications
•Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, Master Degree preferred
•5+ years experience in a Business Analyst role, with end to end project delivery of Order Processing functions - eCommerce platform preferred (Ideally JDE)
•3+ years experience working within agile environment with development teams, global team exposure preferred
•5+ years experience in delivering customer facing business systems solutions in Sales Order Processing
•Good understanding of web/mobile development with a keen interest in user experience and user journeys
•Experience in a hybrid waterfall and agile approach
•Experience in testing, producing and executing test scripts
•Experienced in using Jira, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
•Experience in Confluence (Desirable)
•Six Sigma qualification (Desirable)
•Scrum / Agile / SAFe qualification  (Desirable)

•Skilled at various elicitation techniques to capture desired results

•Ability to deliver quality in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills
•Capable of prioritising and managing own workload
•Quality focus and attention to detail
•Must be self-motivated and client service oriented
•Ability to positively influence and establish psychologically safe environments to enable problem solving and collaboration
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. This must include active listening skills.
