*Responsibilities: *
- Operate the Used Drill Pipe Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI) Unit, ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and adherence to standards.
- Supervise and provide direction to inspection crew members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor inspection processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate paperwork, including Inspection Reports and Tally Reports.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on inspection equipment, coordinating with management for necessary supplies.
*Qualifications: *
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in Used Drill Pipe Inspection.
- Proficiency in NDT unit operation, including MPI, LPI, UT, RT, and Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Certification in MPI, LPI, UT, RT, and CEDO preferred.
- Knowledge of oilfield tubulars and pipe handling practices.
- Strong understanding of API publications and customer specifications.
- Field experience and prior inspection of tubing & casing are assets.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to travel as required.
*HSE Requirements: *
- Ability to work in a shop and yard environment, including exposure to dust, fumes, and changes in temperature/humidity.
- Physical requirements include squatting, bending, lifting up to 23 kilograms, and working near moving equipment.
- Adherence to proper protective clothing and equipment protocols.
