Job description
Carrier Centers’ is growing and requires an experienced, knowledgeable, motivated and career minded, Auto Body Technician to join the team in our Body Shop, located at our Brantford, Ontario location. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, while delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.

A day in the Life of an Auto Body Technician at Carrier Centers:
Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, frame and underbody components as per manufacturer’s specifications.
Use of plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
File grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
Mask and tape body surfaces in preparation for painting
Sand blasting may be required
Thoroughly reviews each repair order prior to beginning work on vehicle
Maintain equipment and report to supervisor any defect in equipment or protective device
Follows all environmental procedures when handling environmentally sensitive products
Ensures the Collision Center is kept in a clean and orderly fashion
Complies with all Carrier Centers’ policies and procedures including Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Who is our ideal candidate?
3+ years of body repair experience required
Auto Body Repair certificated would be an asset but not necessary
Valid “G” license with a clean drivers abstract
Ability to provide excellent customer service while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must have strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must have own tools
Schedule:
7:00 AM- 3:30 PM
40hrs a week
