Now they are looking for a new Finance Specialist who’s a team-player and is enthusiastic about expanding their accounting skillset.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Working in a tight-knit team of 3, you will be responsible for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Making sure all payments and bills are accounted for in an accurate and timely manner, you will be the backbone behind the company!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting directly to the Controller, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Coding, verifying and posting all invoices in a timely manner on Business Central
• Liaising with vendors and suppliers and resolving billing discrepancies when necessary
• Processing and reconciling expense reports
• Administering payments of the corporate credit card program
• Facilitating funds transfers and wire payments
• Processing billing and collections with Members and/or third parties
• Processing deposits (cash, cheques, credit card and electronic payments)
• Reviewing all credit balances, refunds, and applying adjustments to corporate billing records
• Assisting with cashflow management
• Assisting with preparation of month end schedules, accruals, and analysis of financial statements
• Processing bank and account reconciliations

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience working with Business Central and other cloud-based finance systems is an asset
• Strong communication skills

COMPENSATION

• $50,000 - $57,000
• 3 weeks’ vacation
