Job Description:Job Description Our client, headquartered out of Brantford, Ontario, is the only manufacturer of steel strapping in Canada and a leader in packaging solutions. They are looking to add an outside sales specialist to their team who will assist in meeting the needs of existing clients and focus aggressively on building new clients in their assigned territory. The right person will manage a territory east of the GTA which may include Pickering, Ajax and even further east. Do you have a passion to continually seek out, close and build new business? Responsibilities:Responsible for sales of packaging and equipment solutions sales within established territory.Maintain strong customer service and expand business with existing clients.Aggressive focus on building new sales within an assigned territoryAchieving established sales quotasEnsuring appropriate documentation and reporting is maintained and update to date.Participates in team selling activitiesResponsible for gaining an understanding of customer’s business, their needs, requirements and creating an appropriate solution to exceed those needs. Qualifications:Proven track record of successful business building and securing new clients.Experience providing consultative sales solutions based on providing value, not just price driven.Ability and track record of developing and executing a sales plan to reach target accounts.Innovative problem solver; recognizing customer needs, providing alternatives and selling and implementing alternative solutions.Experience in the sales of packaging solutions such as strapping (steel, polyester, polypropylene), stretch film, or related items, a must.Strong presentation skills.Able to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to effectively manage a sales territory and the selling process. Skills and KnowledgeMinimum OSSD EducationValid Drivers License with clean abstract3 - 5+ years of successful sales experience in packaging industry sales Note: You must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident legally allowed to work in Canada to apply for this role.
