Job description

A small/Medium Steel fabricator and installation company with very low turnover is hiring for an immediate Bookkeeper.

We are ideally seeking:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to get along with everyone.
- Adaptability to fill various roles within the accounting team.

Advantages
- Two-person accounting team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Competitive salary range of $55K based on experience and knowledge.
- Onsite role with flexible working hours (8 to 4:30, 9 to 5, 6 to 2).
- Immediate benefits eligibility after 3 months, including vacation allowance.

Responsibilities
- Monthly financial statement prep with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile accounts in the General Ledger, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Work on progress billing and invoicing for Accounts Receivable.
- Manage job cost accounting, including tracking project receipts and expenses.
- Monitor and maintain Cash Flow, handling online banking transactions.

Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation.

- Experience with General Ledger reconciliation and job cost accounting.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing and billing.
- Competency in online banking transactions for Cash Flow management.
- Ability to step in for Payroll and/or Accounts Payable functions as needed.
- Strong Excel skills for job costing and data analysis.
