Job description
As a Electronics Test Technicia n , the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Assembling, testing and troubleshooting electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Performing tests with instructions and documentation.
• Conducting light assembly of electronic components, wiring harnesses, connectors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Pressure testing electronic assemblies.
• Potting and encapsulating electromechanical assemblies.
• Assisting in configuring, preparing, maintaining, utilizing, and or designing test stations and test equipment.
Responsibilities: Working knowledge of electro/mechanical components. General knowledge of digital/analog circuit theory. Skills on soldering and assembling of electronic components. Ability to perform component level troubleshooting. Proficient in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other basic instruments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, electronic schematics, and parts lists. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00a - 5:00p
Will operate an overhead crane (for pressure testing). Stationary standing to lift heavy end caps for large/heavy items.
