Location: Markham, ON

Shift: Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Pay: $20/Hour

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Hand Soldering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision work and a keen eye for detail. As a Hand Soldering Technician at Creation Technologies, you will play a crucial role in assembling electronic components to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform hand soldering of electronic components according to industry standards and company procedures.
2. Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and schematics to ensure accurate component placement and soldering.
3. Inspect incoming components for defects and verify specifications before soldering.
4. Use soldering irons and other hand tools effectively and safely to assemble and solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
5. Work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve any soldering issues or discrepancies.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
7. Adhere to strict quality control measures to ensure that all assembled products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
8. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance soldering skills and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in electronics assembly or soldering preferred.
2. Proven experience in hand soldering electronic components, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
3. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 soldering standards and techniques.
4. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with the ability to work with small components and intricate assemblies.
5. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
6. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
7. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
9. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new techniques or processes as needed.
