Cook, Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar

APC is seeking Cooks to work with Gather Craft Kitchen & Bar located within the spectacular landmark of The Leaf, at Assiniboine Park. This is a two-shift restaurant operating 7 days a week, and offers flexible hours up to 40 hours a week of employment. As a Cook your main objective is to prepare and present menu items as set out by the Chef ensuring safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in all aspects of your work. This position is responsible for working the whole line of the kitchen including the preparation and presentation of both hot and cold menu items set out by the Chef.

Qualifications:

• Experience in cooking at a contemporary on-trend restaurant.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Thorough knowledge of kitchen procedures, cooking methods, and equipment usage.
• Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitization standards.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while attending to details and maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Wage: $16.08 per hour, plus tip pool.
