Job Title:       Manager, Data and Solutions Analysis

Reports To:     Senior Vice President (SVP), Information Technology

Department: Information Technology



Position Summary

Reporting to the SVP of Information Technology, the Manager, Data and Solutions Analysis will provide analysis and recommendations to improve the company’s core business information platform and various output applications to continually meet changing organizational needs and requirements and assist the organization in attaining its business goals and objectives.

We are seeking someone who will enjoy working with passionate people in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position, with responsibilities that include strategic, long-term planning and implementation of technology, and providing one-on-one, as well as group training support.


Responsibilities:

1.    Growth of Technology Applications

Contributes to the evaluation and solutioning of the company’s technology applications by continuously reviewing they meet current and future needs of the organization.

2. Project Intake Management

Manages and ensures requests for various information technology-related projects are triaged and ready for executive review.

3. Analysis of Applications and User Requirements

Reviews applications functionality to ensure applications are still meeting stakeholder requirements. Assess options for improvement, including business process modeling. Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations. Leading process review and improvement initiatives to ensure smooth transitions. Educating other departments on new processes, sharing ideas, and taking feedback

4. End User Training and Help Desk Support

Contributes to end user training activities and programs aimed at increasing effectiveness of application deployment, user competence and quality of business information; proactively collaborates with the end user and other support groups and shares knowledge of the applications, responds to complex knowledge-related requests as a part of the company’s Help Desk (level 2 response team)

5. Data Analysis

Responsible for organizing, analyzing, designing, and presenting data in a way that assists associates and the organization to make better decisions. Gather, review, and analyze industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools.


6. Management and Development of Staff

Is responsible for hiring, on-the-job training, managing, and coaching of Information Technology personnel.


Any other job-related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.
