What Are We About?


Reporting to the Digital Marketing Strategy Manager the Social Media Officer is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to expand the College’s profile through current and emerging social media channels and across all current social platforms (Facebook/X/Instagram/Linkedin/SnapChat/YouTube/TikTok). The incumbent develops creative and original ideas that reflect the College’s strategic plan and aligned with the College’s annual Social Media Strategy. The incumbent builds a positive image of the College in online communities, locally, provincially, nationally, and increasingly, globally. The incumbent works with faculty and service areas College-wide to provide counsel on social media strategies and tactics. The incumbent researches industry trends in the areas of print, social media and web marketing. The incumbent provides back-up to the Communications Officer on media relations and crisis communications issues.

Please Note: This position has been designated as hybrid and expected to be on-campus 50% of the time.
