$24/Hour, Monday-Friday 800am-430pm
South Edmonton
Own transportation is a must*

Our client is looking for an assembler helper to participate in the assembly line in pumps and valves etc., industry components.
This position requires the use of hand and power tools, the ability to read blue prints.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the completion of assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
- Demonstrates an advanced understanding of inspection equipment, their functions and uses to ensure that all parts and assemblies are within specifications.
- Ensure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
- Capable of calculating basic mathematical functions including computation of rate, ratio, and percent and to convert one type of measurement into another.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and technical drawings safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Qualifications
- Forklift and overhead crane experience would be an asset
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
- Ability to handle 50 lbs
- Previous experience in assembly or shop experience
