Position: ERP Project Manager
Location: Saint-Louis, Missouri – 100% onsite
Job Type: Full-time permanent
We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, business users, and the ERP vendor to ensure the successful deployment of the ERP solution across our organization. Additionally, the ERP Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the application post-implementation and becoming the subject matter expert (SME) for the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the ERP system, including planning, scoping, scheduling, and execution of project activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business users to gather requirements, define project objectives, and establish success criteria.
- Work closely with the ERP vendor to customize and configure the system to meet the specific needs
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of the ERP implementation.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions with stakeholders.
- Manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, proactively mitigating potential challenges.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users post-implementation, ensuring smooth operation of the ERP system.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all ERP-related inquiries, escalations, and enhancements.
- Act as the SME for the ERP system, staying up-to-date on new features and functionality.
- Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, modules, and business processes, with expertise in at least one major ERP platform (e.g., D365).
- Experience providing system support to business users and stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, track progress, and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying root causes and developing pragmatic solutions.
