Senior Architect/Project Manager

Job description
We are seeking a senior architect/project manager with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. We require someone with strong skills in managing multiple projects and ensuring quality control to oversee all our active projects and be responsible for direction of our staff, document review and consultant coordination. We are looking for an individual with broad skills and experience in all phases of project delivery. Strong, hands-on technical knowledge and experience in field review and contract administration is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years experience with demonstrated relevant project experience
- Exceptional technical knowledge of building construction and the Ontario Building Code
- Ability to supervise production of a number of projects simultaneously
- Ability to work within and lead a team
- Ability to co-ordinate with multi-disciplinary consultant team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stamp drawings is not required but desirable
Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to review project requirements
- Lead and manage a design/production team to produce fully coordinated architectural working drawings and project specifications
- Conduct construction review and contract administration throughout the duration of a project
- Review and approve shop drawings
- Communicate with construction team to provide information and solve problems
