Responsibilities
The Learning Management System Analyst leads the technical and operational deployment, and ongoing change management, administration of the IGT learning management system and serves as a primary system administrator and configuration specialist. The incumbent is the platform expert and is a lead point of contact for the LMS vendor managing upgrades and testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring system accessibility in supporting critical organizational education needs.
The incumbent is expected to collaborate with partners and stakeholders to analyze and assess operational needs and lead the optimization of full LMS functionality.
Using independent judgment, analytical skills, and sound project management, this role works with educational leaders and stakeholders to develop the administrative infrastructure, system standards of use, and governance guidelines. The incumbent will manage IGT’s annual compliance program, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
- Remains current on new LMS releases, coordinates user acceptance testing, and communicates changes as needed to appropriate groups
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves problems with course design, SCORM, LMS configuration and learning infrastructure
- Uploads, maintains, schedules, and creates courses, curricula, and assignment profiles in the LMS
- Runs system reports and develops custom reports and dashboards to meet data analytic need; automates reporting
- Manages relationships with vendors
- Researches, identifies, and recommends improvements to LMS configuration and workflows
- Conducts system monitoring to ensure employee and training data is accurate
- Manage IGT’s annual compliance program
- Participates in and provides consultation and expertise to internal project teams
- Supports and leads other programs and special projects as necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in LMS administration and/or HR/IT systems role; SAP SuccessFactors preferred
- Demonstrated analytical ability: ability to identify, understand, analyze and design unique and innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Experience analyzing and assessing LMS operational needs and leading optimization efforts with stakeholder groups
- Experience independently managing multiple concurrent projects and working with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Managing SCORM courses, developing SCORM wrappers for e-learning content
- Experience troubleshooting and problem solving technical and LMS issues for internal customers
- Experience using PowerApps, Excel Scripting, or Tableau to automate reporting and analytics
- * Occasional travel required (West Greenwich, group meetings, etc.)
