Position Overview:
As the General Sales Manager at Cardoor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our automotive sales department. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, driving sales performance, and ensuring that our team consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in automotive sales management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for exceeding targets and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership : Provide strong leadership and guidance to the sales team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and maximize profitability.
- Performance Management : Monitor sales metrics, analyze sales data, and evaluate performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Training and Development : Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up, and foster long-term relationships with clients.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory management team to optimize inventory levels, ensure adequate stock availability, and facilitate efficient vehicle merchandising and sales processes.
- Marketing and Promotions : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Compliance and Regulations : Ensure compliance with all automotive industry regulations, dealership policies, and legal requirements governing vehicle sales and financing.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Thorough understanding of automotive industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional results.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
