Our client is currently looking for Personal Lines Damage Insurance Brokers to join the team in their offices located throughout Quebec.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Under the authority of the Unit Manager, the Personal Lines Damage Insurance Broker advises personal line clients on various insurance companies’ products in order to meet their needs. In addition, they provide customer service and the necessary follow-up for each client.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Greet, listen and advise the customer;
- Analyze the needs, recommend the best product and offer the appropriate service;
- Seize sales and referral opportunities;
- Enter and update the customer file according to the established standards;
- Enter activities in the system and in the customer file according to the according standards;
- Carry out all correspondence (letters, communications, etc.);
- Follow up on files: payment and documents to be received;
- Communicate and negotiate with the insurer: flex, risk, acceptance, etc.;
- Complete dashboards and reports;
- Solicit customers for x-dates, contests, coupons, etc.;
- Direct claims to insurers;
- Participate in team meetings;
- Adhere to company values, mission, standards and procedures;
- Stay up to date and informed.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
- A.E.C. in Property and Casualty Insurance or equivalent (an asset);
- One (1) year experience in sales and/or customer service in personal lines insurance (an asset);
- Knowledge of the main office automation tools (Microsoft Office Suite) and software used in the company (an asset);
- Knowledge of the main insurers' systems (an asset).
- Customer service oriented and goal oriented;
- Excellent sales, negotiation and persuasion skills;
- Good autonomy and organizational skills;
- Problem solving and priority management oriented;
- Good knowledge of French, bilingualism (an asset)
