JOB OPPORTUNITY SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
POSITION TYPE: Permanent, Full Time SUPERVISOR: Assistant Controller POSITION LOCATION: Kelowna, BC.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Assistant Controller (and at times to the Controller) of The Tle’ Nax T’awei Group, the Senior Accountant is responsible for performing full cycle accounting functions and other related duties as appropriate for TTLP and its Corporate Group which includes subsidiary companies. The incumbent must be able to assume increasing levels of responsibility and have the desire and capacity to grow with the organization and assume increasing responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to compile, analyze, interpret and present annual financial statements, and communicate these in simple terms • Understanding of the principles, process and standards or integrated financial analysis and reporting • Strong computer skills with extensive working experience with Microsoft Excel • Working knowledge of Sage300 • A professional accounting designation (or working towards completion) • Minimum 3 years experience in the finance and accounting field • Excellent knowledge and experience related to the appropriate usage of technology and information systems
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a full time permanent position with an attractive benefits package. The salary range for this position is between, $60,000 - $75,000 per year and will be commensurate with experience.
