Job description

Position: Production Manager
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent
Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Compensation: $85 000 - $95 000

Responsibilities
Oversee production teams, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
Collaborate closely with quality and maintenance teams to uphold product quality and equipment reliability
Develop and motivate production teams to achieve excellence
Efficiently plan resources per line and shift as per established schedules
Ensure manufactured products meet client specifications in terms of quality and food safety
Provide support and guidance to team leaders

Monitor performance and conduct floor tours for operational efficiency

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial, food, or chemical engineering, operations and logistics management, food science, or relevant experience
5-7 years of experience in team management or supervision
Excellent communication skills, autonomy, and team spirit
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Mastery of spoken and written English (an asset)
Knowledge of food safety standards (ISO22000, GFSI, BRC, SQF) (an asset)
Ability to thrive under pressure and make swift decisions
