The salary range for this position is:

Recruitment range: $77,064- $84,968 starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.

Performance range: starting salary to max of $100,235 is available through annual performance increases.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Director, Residence Life and Education, and in support of departmental and divisional goals, the Manager, Educational Integration is responsible for two functions: 1) Providing strategic leadership and management of the Residence Education team and 2) Managing and providing oversight of a variety of administrative functions within the overall Residence Life and Education sub-unit to develop and support effective daily operations.

This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and coordination of the educational and support programs, services and portfolios that support students living on campus, including oversight of Living Learning Communities (LLCs), the Residence Resource Hub, residence-wide programming and leadership initiatives, the Indigenous Student Lounge, and a comprehensive residence orientation program. This position will also assist the Associate Director in developing and managing a variety of administrative tasks and processes that support the overall Residence Life and Education team. This may include creation and/or oversight of processes in areas such as student staff remuneration; the development of materials for professional staff onboarding materials; building of educational materials to assist in student conduct processes; the creation of communication tools, etc.

The Manager directly supervises four full-time professional staff, and provides indirect support and supervision to up to 120 paraprofessional staff and volunteers who work within these portfolios. In addition, the Manager is the main liaison for all RLE administrative tasks and processes assigned to the Residence Services Administrative Clerk. This position may also participate in a Residence Life Manager On-Call duties, providing support to after-hours professional staff and/or responding to emergencies and student crises as required.

Due to the nature of the duties and responsibilities of this position, occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Job Requirements

This position requires a Masters Degree in a relevant field (leadership, higher or adult education, psychology) plus a minimum of three (3) years of related experience preferably in a post-secondary institution.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
